Abstract
Many western and eastern poets deal with the woman as a topic to their poems. So the reader can find her as a wife and a beloved. But many poets go on to describe the society view towards her. They put the fallen woman as subject to their poetry. So some of them excuse her fall or find her a reason for this fall. This study deals with the fallen woman in three poems; two of Rossettis’ and one of the Iraqi poet Bader Shaker Al Sayyab. The study emphasizes on Al Sayyab’s point of view as an eastern side and Rossettis’ as a western one.
